Impact Permitting has grown from a small business with just three customers in 2006, to a prosperous business with a large and growing client base, comprised of both local and national companies, with an reputation earned by always striving to provide the highest levels of service and care.
In the course of building and expanding the business, an internal process was developed to track the status of every permit submitted by Impact Permitting. This process is now being developed into an online application, in which clients may track the status of their permits and interact with staff.
Impact has also developed a construction consulting division to assist with drawings, inspections and any other issues that may arise. The group of marketing, business development, legal counsel and information technology professionals that Nadine has assembled is what makes this level of support possible and it is this team that has built Impact Permitting Franchise Company.
History
Impact Permitting was founded in 2006 as I. M. Permitting and Errand Services by Nadine Austerfield. Combining expertise in permitting gained as a project manager for one of South Florida’s largest construction firms, with her deep understanding of customer service attained in hotel management, Nadine created a company that delivers consistency and persistence to the permitting process.
2006 was not the best of times for an industry that was beginning to feel the effects of what would come to be known as the Great Recession. Construction was hit particularly hard by the economic downturn, and in few places were the effects felt as strongly as South Florida, where many construction and permitting firms were closing their doors.
It was in this environment that Nadine launched her enterprise and began the task of building a company that thrived in the worst economic conditions in decades. She accomplished this by taking on even the most problematic permitting issues and working with smaller clients that her competitors passed by.
